MPSMilitary Personnel Section

As the Military Personnel Section, it is our job to advise military members, help complete personnel-related actions, and assist in keeping personnel records current. The MPS has four different elements. Career Development provides assistance to those with outbound assignments, promotions, demotions, reenlistments, extensions, and separations. Force Management is the focal point for duty status, g-series orders, evaluations, adverse actions, and PRP.  Customer Service is responsible for CAC IDs, updates to DEERs, SGLI, awards and decorations, and Passports. Customer Support provides assistance for in-processing, Leave Web, BAS 220s, accessions, and any other personnel-related issues military members may have.

MaOManpower and Orgainization (M&O)

Manpower and organization (M&O) advises base leadership on manning and organizational requirements. We maintain the record of positions authorized at Holloman AFB to include Officer, Enlisted, Civilian, and Contracting Manpower Equivalent personnel. Any changes to authorizations or organizational structure must be vetted through M & O. We also implement Air Force Manpower Standard requirements and advise on wartime requirements. M & O is now the focal point for the Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) program, which focuses on performance management principles.
